We address the heliocentric in-orbit repositioning problem of an E-sail-based spacecraft that covers a circular parking orbit given radius, with assumption propulsive acceleration is directed along Sun-spacecraft line. According to recent literature, analysis exploits possibility reducing mathematical dynamics equivalent nonlinear oscillator single degree freedom. The analytical expression trajectory, which available in polar form when its motion periodic, used obtain approximate relationships among E-sail performance, flight time, and desired phasing angle. model validated through numerical simulations, whereas last part paper discusses comparison optimal transfers literature.
